Heart Institute. Dr. Jason Pelton has joined the team of cardiologi­sts at CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Heart Center. Dermatolog­ist Dr. Vivian Shi, has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Dr. Teresita Bellido has joined UAMS as professor and chair of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics in the College of Medicine.

Dr. Jessica Snowden has been named chief of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Disease in the College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics at UAMS. April Mayo of Booneville recently began a new position as director of nursing and administra­tor at Mercy Hospital Paris. Michelle Bass now serves as vice president for service excellence at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith and Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas.
