WOODLAWN — Ronnie L. Erwin,

age 60, of Woodlawn, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020.

Born October 29, 1959 at Pine Bluff, he was a son of the late William Edward Erwin and Werdna Vent Erwin.

He was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, Woodlawn, and graduated from Chapel Academy in 1978.

Ronnie went to work for Arkla Gas Company (now CenterPoin­t Energy) in 1978 and was a senior service technician. He was a member of New Life Church Pine Bluff and played bass for the worship team.

In addition to his parents, he was predecease­d by a brother, Dennis Erwin.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Piper Pipkin Erwin, whom he married on September 14, 1991; two daughters, Shaina Erwin and Katelyn Erwin; a sister, Sharon Nelson; nephews, Mark Nelson (Susan) and Clay Nelson (Racheal); a niece, Jamie Nelson; great-nephews, Brody Green, Liam Nelson, and Layton Nelson; great-nieces, Madeline Nelson and Kinsley Nelson; along with many other loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020, 10 a.m. at New Life Church Pine Bluff, with Pastor Matt Mosler officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the family’s request, masks and social distancing will be required at both the visitation and the services.
