HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Robert Lee Hopkins,

77, of Hot Springs Village passed away on Thursday, August, 6, 2020 at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs after a three week battle with Covid-19 and pneumonia.

Robert, known as ‘Bob’ to his friends and family was born to Roy and Marguerite Hopkins in Monmouth, New Jersey on May 14, 1943. After living in North Little Rock most of his life and another 10 years in Gregory, Ark. Bob and his wife Jean Ann Red Hopkins retired to Hot Springs Village in 2015.

Bob enjoyed a life-long career as a Real Estate Broker representi­ng large Hunting clubs throughout Arkansas and the greater South. Bob was an avid outdoorsma­n who loved to duck hunt with his friends and family, especially his nephew Karl Pierson from Kansas City, Miss. He adored his dogs and they were truly his constant companion. He and Jean Ann are members of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hot Springs Village.

Bob is preceded in death by his father (Roy, who was a Colonel in the U.S. Army during WWII and then had a life-long career at Bell South in NLR, Ark.) and mother (Marguerite Biles, who was a Piano Teacher and from Augusta, Ark.). He will be remembered by his beloved wife, Jean Ann Red Hopkins of Hot Springs Village; and by his step-daughter, Jacqueline White & her husband Robert, of Boston, Mass., along with his two biological daughters, Teresa Moses of Austin, Texas and Angela Moses (who is married to Joey Johnson) of Detroit, Mich., along with six grandchild­ren, Audrey Ward, Colin White, Abigail Wilkinson, Ellery White, Brooks Johnson & Max Johnson. Bob also leaves two sisters, Paula Pierson of Birmingham, Ala., and Loyce Anne Hopkins of Dallas, Texas.

A celebratio­n of life will be held at a later time when his friends and family can safely hug, laugh, and share memories of ‘Bobbie’.
