STOIBER departed this earthly world on August 11, 2020. She was born March 19, 1929 in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Johann O’Toole and Francis Halligan. She is preceded in death by her loving

husband, Edward (Ed) W. Stoiber of 59 years, sister Rosemary Halligan, and her dear son, Eric W. Stoiber. Pat is survived by her brother John Thomas Halligan and wife Betty of Pennsylvan­ia and Joanne Phillips of California. She will be sorely missed by her loving children, grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren; Sons Edward F. Stoiber and wife Shelly and David Stoiber and wife Marsha Mueller; daughterin-law Jana Stoiber and daughters Judi Emerson, Patti Bailey, and Mary Jo Suski and husband Steve. Pat will be fondly missed by 16 grandchild­ren; Jacob Stoiber, Conrad Emerson, Nathan Stoiber and wife Ani, Rachael Oberste and husband Dan, Anna Stoiber, Evan Stoiber, Megan Pierce and husband Todd, Daryl Mason and husband Tom, Erik Bailey and wife Shannon, Ryan Stoiber, Eddie Bailey and wife Sarah, Sarah Stoiber, Steven Suski, Rebecca Bailey and wife Maggie, Morgan Sanders and husband Robert, and Brianna Suski. 11 great-grandchild­ren brought her joy and happiness.

As a devoted mother, Pat was actively involved in her children’s lives in so many ways. To name a few, she was a regular room mother for school functions, a Girl Scout Leader, CCD Religious Instructor, and always busy at the sewing machine making special outfits especially for Easter Sunday or Halloween fun. For many years, her family awoke to her homemade donuts and fresh breads every Saturday morning. She was an amazing seamstress. As a member of the Hot Springs Quilt Guild, she created several beautiful quilts for her loved ones.

Pat had a successful career with Illinois Bell Telephone followed by 13 years with General Telephone Company. Upon her retirement, Pat and Ed spent many enjoyable years in Hot Springs Village where they were active members of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. During their time in ‘The Village’, Pat was an active member of the Sacred Heart Women’s Group where she gave of her time to help in a variety of volunteer efforts. When not at home in The Village, Pat and Ed were on the road in their RV, spending some winter months in Tucson, Ariz., or traveling to one of their grandchild­ren’s events. She spent the last four years of her life in Little Rock happily living at Woodland Heights.

This beautiful woman will be missed by all whom she touched. A private memorial service is planned for the family on September 11th at Christ the King Church, Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to The Hat Club of Little Rock to support pediatric leukemia patients at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
