— Allen (Al) Carlton McIntyre, 78, of Cabot, passed away September 22, 2020 in Little Rock. Al was born on October 8, 1941 in Sodus, New York, to the late Elwyn McIntyre and Marion Miles McIntyre. Al served in the U.S. Air Force.

He met and married Linda Fern Dulany while stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base. They had been married for 56 years when Linda passed away January 28, 2018. After leaving the U.S. Air Force, Al worked at IBM. He left their employment in 1976 to start his own small business, Miles Industries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Fern McIntyre; brother, Ronnie McIntyre; his son, Eric Allen McIntyre; and his grandson, Lt. Adam David Wright.

Survivors include daughters, Leah (Scott) Kloss, Darla McIntyre, and Brenda McIntyre (Susan Burton); sister, Jeannie McIntyre; brother, Harold (Peggy) McIntyre; and sister, Lillian Howard. Al had great affection for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to the late Lt. Adam (Heather) Wright, his grandchildren include Seth Moore, Lex (Whitney) Cupples, Alexander Cupples, Connor Mahoney, Erica McIntyre, and McKenzie Freeman. Great-grandchildren include Avah Dent, Achele Wright, Chadryck Cupples, Jairyck Cupples, Dexter Cupples, Owen Grigsby, Scarlett Grigsby, Maci Benson, and Ava Turner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Cremation arrangements are by Thomas Funeral Service (501)941-7888.
