NEWPORT — Drucilla “Dru” Cunningham, 43,

of Newport, departed this life Friday, October 9, 2020, in Jonesboro. Drucilla was born November 12, 1976, in Newport, Ark. Drucilla was the eldest daughter of the late Deborah Sue West. Drucilla graduated from Newport High School in 1995 and attended nursing school at ASUN to get her associates degree. Dru was employed as a registered nurse at St. Bernard’s Family Clinic. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Newport, Ark., under Reverend Marvin Alcorn.

Dru is survived by her twin daughters, Kayla and Kianna Fite; her twin sisters, Rhonda and Shonda West; and one brother, Maurice West.

She is also survived by three aunts, Dorthy Robinson (mama), Willine Person, and Robyn Watkins (Terrei); two uncles, Freddie Robinson (papa), Derrick Person; three nieces, Paris, Hannah, and Shalaycia; two nephews, Carmello and Caleb; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery Diaz, Ark. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2020, at the funeral home. Pallbearer­s will be Tyson Watkins, Gregory Fite, Tyrone Watkins, Chris Ellis, and Jay Crite.
