Normally played in Japan, the ZOZO Championsh­ip makes a pandemic-induced move across the Pacific to Southern California’s Sherwood Country Club, where a field including Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth will tee it up on the Jack Nicklaus-designed layout. Woods won this tournament a year ago, leading wire-to-wire to pick up his 82nd career Tour victory, tying Sam Snead’s all-time mark.

7 p.m. on CW Supernatur­al

Flashbacks to Sam and Dean (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) as youngsters figure into the new episode “Drag Me Away (From You)”, which finds the brothers asked to investigat­e the murder of an old childhood friend. That task takes them back to a motel from their past, perplexing the Winchester­s with a case they thought had been solved many years ago.

7 p.m. on TMC Movie: Field of Dreams

This fantasy, based on W.P. Kinsella’s book “Shoeless Joe” — and known to make grown men weep — stars Kevin Costner as an Iowa farmer whose love of baseball leads him to build a diamond in a cornfield. The ghost of Shoeless Joe Jackson arrives, followed by other players, in the 1989 film. Amy Madigan, Burt Lancaster, Ray Liotta, Timothy Busfield and James Earl Jones also star.

7:55 p.m. on FREE Movie: Hocus Pocus

Amok, amok, amok! Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy star as a trio of 17th-century witches who are accidental­ly summoned to the present in this ghoulish 1993 comedy. Re-entering the land of the living on Halloween night in Salem, Mass., the threesome gets right to work meting out punishment for their hanging long ago. PBS NewsHour Debates 2020

Less than two weeks before the Nov. 3 election date, incumbent President Donald Trump and his Democratic challenger, former Vice President Joe Biden, face off in their final debate at Belmont University, a private Christian school in Nashville, Tenn. Due to a number of factors, details about the debate format are still being ironed out at this writing, but NBC White House correspond­ent Kristen Welker is scheduled to moderate. The event is being carried on most networks and cable news outlets.

As they search a labyrinth for an ancient relic, Talon, Wren, Janzo and Yavalla (Jessica Green, Izuku Hoyle, Anand Desai-Barochia, Jaye Griffiths) are forced into a desperate fight for their lives in the new episode “A Life for a Life.” Meanwhile, Gwynn (Imogen Waterhouse) clashes with Zed (Reece Ritchie) for control of the Outpost. 8 p.m. on OXYGEN Injustice With Nancy Grace

A young veteran from Georgia mysterious­ly disappears after a severe bipolar episode in the new “Friend or Foe?” After the case goes cold, host Nancy Grace joins the investigat­ion and vows to ensure a conviction, but an unexpected plea deal may hide the complete truth and prevent justice from being fully served.
