Elliott reports $27,600 in donations

State Sen. Joyce Elliott, D-Little Rock, on Thursday reported receiving 17 donations of $1,000 or more, totaling $27,600.

Six were received Tuesday and 11 were added Wednesday, she told the Federal Election Commission in a filing.

Elliott is challengin­g Republican U.S. Rep. French Hill of Little Rock in Arkansas’ 2nd Congressio­nal District.

Election Day is Tuesday. Under federal law, candidates aren’t required to file their next full campaign finance report until Dec.

3. However, they must file notices listing any donation of $1,000 or more within 48 hours of receipt.

The contributi­ons listed for Tuesday, totaling $13,600, came from:
