ROBERT (BOB) LEWIS HUTSON,

of Maumelle, was born February 5, 1935, in Carlisle, Ark., to Eunice and George Hutson. He leaves his wife of 59 years, Andre Turner Hutson; children, Holly Edwards (Dave), Richard, and Bryan; grandchild­ren, Luke, Hannah, Sarah, Lilly and Brady; brother, Harold (Bonnie) Hutson; sister, Martha (Glenn) Fincher; eight nephews and nieces.

Bob was in the Army and served two years in Germany. He worked constructi­on in Alaska in the summer months. He was there when Alaska became a state. After college he became a pharmaceut­ical salesman and later an orthopedic salesman.

He loved to hunt and attend Carlisle school reunions. After retirement, Bob started building houses. Bob was a member of Immanuel Baptist Churc and Dave Woodsan’s Sunday school class. He was taken to Heaven on November 4, 2020. Special thanks to Hospice of Arkansas, and Hospice at the VA.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. David Moore officiatin­g. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m., Monday, November 9, the family will be present from 5-7 p.m. Burial will follow the funeral service at Carlisle Cemetery. During the pandemic we are limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must wear their masks before entering.
