MARK JASON SOBER, 51,

of Sherwood, passed away November 7, 2020, at his home in the loving care of his wife and daughter. He was born June 19, 1969, in Little Rock, Ark., to the late William Robert “Bobby” Sober and the late Jeana Kathleen “Kathy” Campbell Sober. Mark’s greatest accomplish­ments were that of being a father to his daughter and a loving husband.

Mark is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brandy Morris Sober; his daughter, Bevan Grace Sober and a host of family and friends. He was a loving and supportive husband and father. Mark was employed by Industrial Electronic Supply, where he served as a dedicated employee for 24 years. Mark was known for his wit and humor. He enjoyed bringing happiness to others and was always willing to lend a helpful hand. Mark was an avid sportsman, who greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors, especially with his daughter. Mark also enjoyed playing in pool tournament­s and spending time traveling or at the lake with his family and friends.

Mark’s family and friends would like to thank CARTI and his team of healthcare providers that worked diligently to assist him in his battle against breast cancer throughout the past eight years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CARTI, in memory of Mark or to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. A visitation will be held from 6–8 p.m., on Wednesday, November 11, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home in North Little Rock. Funeral Services will begin at 2 p.m., on Thursday, November 12, at the funeral home with interment immediatel­y following at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
