DARDANELLE — Edna Jean Petray,
75, of Dardanelle, formerly of Russellville, passed away, Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Dardanelle Nursing Center. The daughter of James and Juanita Duncan Cook, she was born February 22, 1945, in Harrisburg. She married Richard L. Petray, on March 27, 1981, in Memphis, Tenn. She was a Personnel Manger for Nabholtz Construction Company. Edna will be cherished as a loving wife, mother and mamaw. She was a member of the Pottsville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, interior decorating, reading cookbooks, and watching her grandson play ball. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Petray of Russellville; a daughter, Kim Taylor (Bob) of Pottsville; a step-son, Frank Petray (Liz); step-daughter, Jennifer Petray (Ty Reid); seven grandchildren, Kalab Edwards of Georgia, Connor and Chandler Petray both of Van Buren, Alisyn Reid of Little Rock, Adam Reid of California, Robert and Christpher Taylor of Russellville; six great-grandchildren, Atley and Kaine Edwards both of Georgia, Gage, Ty, Tori and Bell Taylor all of Russellville; and a sister, Joannie Channell of Illinois.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Pisgah Cemetery. Rev. Beth Latham will officiate. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville, Ark., by Humphrey Funeral Service.
