passed away peacefully on Nov 7, 2020. His journey started July 7, 1934, in Little Rock, after being born to Robert and Edna Fleming Sr. He graduated from Little Rock Senior High School in 1951, then attended Rice University and the University of Arkansas, graduating in 1956. At the U of A, Bob met Edna Green of Crossett, Ark., and they married in 1956. She preceded him in death in 2000, after a happy marriage of 44 years.

Following college, Bob went to work for the Burroughs Corporatio­n, then quickly moved to IBM where he rose to senior marketing representa­tive over a 20 year career. After retiring from IBM, Bob owned a series of businesses in the Houston area. In 2001, Bob returned to Little Rock. He enjoyed his retirement, playing in bluegrass bands, building furniture, helping all with home improvemen­t projects, and traveling the world with his dear friend Barbara Baber. Bob always had a great enthusiasm for life and an optimistic outlook on the future. He did everything well and had many interests that caught the focus of his keen mind. Bob lived a full life and was an honorable man with the best character. He was a wonderful father, brother, husband, companion, friend and coworker and he will be missed greatly.

He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Keith and Cindy Fleming of San Antonio, his sister and brother in law, Glenda and Marshall Gazette of Little Rock, nephew, Owen Gazette of Little Rock, and niece, Gail Spencer of Poplar Bluff. Bob was a lifelong member of Pulaski Heights Methodist Church.
