Miles Thomas Krank

Miles Thomas Krank, 61, of Pine Bluff, went to be with his Savior on Saturday, November 14, 2020. He was born October 19, 1959, at Davis Hospital in Pine Bluff. He was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Bobbi Sue Spainhouer Krank; parents, Thomas and Goldmon Krank; brothers, Tim and Michael Dion Krank; and a nephew, Derek Baggett.

Survivors include his sisters, Pamela Baggett (Leslie) of Sheridan and Kim Krank of Pine Bluff; niece, Allison Michau (Randy); great-nephews, Brenden, Josh, and Ethan Baggett, Aaron Reppond, Garrett and Gavin Michau; his children, Justin Robertson and Sarah Roan; seven grandchild­ren, Addison, Ryan, Charleigh, Claire, Boston, Hayden, and Harper.

Miles attended Watson Chapel High School and took Radio Communicat­ions at U.C.A. in Conway. His radio career began in 1980 at KOTN in Pine Bluff. Later, he worked at KCLA in Pine Bluff and KMSL in Magnolia, where he hosted the gospel radio program. Following his time there, he worked at KPYN radio in Atlanta/Texarkana, where he hosted an open prayer line. Most recently, he hosted a Sunday morning show called “Sunday Gospel Jubilee” in Pine Bluff on B98.1 The Hog where he remained until illness forced him to leave. He loved to witness to others and spread the Gospel through his Christian Radio programs.

He was an avid hunter; a bowling league member in Magnolia, Ark., a member of the Masonic Lodge; and was a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church. He also worked for a number of years at Radio Shack in Magnolia, and was the former manager of KFC in Camden. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors with the Rev. John Mooney officiatin­g and a eulogy by Tim West. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time on Wednesday. Due to Covid, the family requests no home visitation, and we understand if you don’t attend the service.
