CABOT — Floria Jean Witcher, 76,

-

of Cabot Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 23, 2020.

She was born August 11, 1944, the daughter of Earnie Bradford and Winnie Holland Bradford of McRae, Arkansas.

Jean married Frank Witcher in 1985 and they were married for 35 years and raised five daughters. Jean retired from Care Link as an in home care provider for senior citizens. She loved each of her clients and even cared for them after her retirement.

Jean loved gardening and being outside. She often had two gardens and shared her harvest with her neighbors, family and friends. She liked playing in the dirt with her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her favorite saying to Justin (grandson) was “we got this” or “we have plan”. She took care of many as if they were her own which extended her family even more. She loved Jesus and church as well as ministering to others. She took care of the nursery at her church and often drove the van to pick up kids to take them to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cabot (her church home). If you wanted to go to church Ms. Jean was at your door. She was a “Way Maker” just like her creator. She had her own kind of ministry with Kroger in Cabot picking up food and delivering to those who needed it including the police, ambulance and firemen in Cabot. It was joy for her to be giving as her garage is full of stuff that “folks might need”. She never met a stranger and had a servant’s heart for the Lord.

In addition to her late husband Daniel Joseph Davis, she is preceded in death by her parents Earnie Bradford and Winnie Holland Bradford of McRae, and her Brother Travis Bradford of Vilonia.

Surviving in addition to her Husband Frank Witcher of Cabot, are her children Tira Yarbrough (Elvis Yarbrough) of Greenbrier, Ark., Terri Miessner (Gary Miessner) of San Antonio, Texas, Karri Adams of Austin, Ark., April Witcher Ray of Sherwood, Ark., and April and Mark Spencer of Cabot, Ark.

Her eight Grandchildren: Sydney Yarbrough, Haley Adams, Justin Daniel Adams, Brandon Coleman, Kaleb Ray, Emily Ray, T.K. Spencer (Angela Spencer) and Tillmon Spencer (Lindsay Spencer).

Two Great-Grandchildren: Ruthie Spencer and Gideon Spencer as well as nieces, a nephew and many cousins and extended members of her family.
