97, of Hot Springs, Ark. passed away Monday, November 23, 2020.

He was born December 11, 1922 in the Oakside community around Mountain View, Mo. during the depression. He was raised in the country, then grew up fast in World War II in the China Burma India Campaign. He was a proud member of Merrill’s Marauders and he remembered so many of his fellow soldiers. He raised six children in Ulysses, Kan. and had a career in a Natural Gas operation. He loved to fish and hunt, especially pheasant hunting. He remembered so many things from his childhood that helped him all through his life. When he moved to Arkansas, a great part of his life began again. He camped, boated, fished, gardened and visited with everybody he could. He helped Bill Clinton get elected any way he could, state and nationally. He loved the Lord and the United States Flag. All along beside him was his beautiful wife of 72 years, Glendal, raising kids and keeping family close was their specialty. We thank God we had him close to us for so long. Thank you, Dad.
