Brenda Martin, chair of the Department of Human Sciences at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, recently received the Outstanding Educator of the Year award from the Arkansas Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.
MEDICINE
Steven Barger, Ph.D., a neuroscience and neurological disease researcher at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, was invested Nov. 18 in the Louise G. Hearn Chair in Dementia and Long-Term Care. M. Denise Compton, Ph.D., a licensed clinical psychologist and geriatric neuropsychologist specializing in seniors and cognitive disorders at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, was invested Nov. 18 in the Magalene McKinnon Ingram Endowed Professorship in Geriatric Education.
Gastroenterologist Dr. Naga Saranya Addepally has joined the team of physicians at the CHI St. Vincent Little Rock Diagnostic Clinic at 10001 Lile Drive in Little Rock.
