Central Baptist College announces priority scholarship deadline for fall 2021
CONWAY — High school seniors and transfer students who will attend Central Baptist College for the fall 2021 semester have until Dec. 10 to meet the requirements for the priority scholarship deadline. Students meeting this deadline will be eligible to receive the best scholarship awards of the year. To be eligible for the priority scholarship deadline, students must complete the following:
• Apply for admission at cbc.edu/apply.
• Submit transcripts.
• Submit ACT, SAT or Accuplacer test scores. • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at studentaid.gov.
Students who complete these steps will be automatically qualified to receive a scholarship award package. On average, CBC freshmen receive $9,947 toward the cost of tuition, fees, room and board. This average amount is made up of CBC institutional scholarships, state aid and federal grants, not including student loans.
“We work hard to keep the cost of attending Central Baptist College affordable so that as many students as possible can experience the special Christ-centered college environment we offer,” President Terry Kimbrow said.
“CBC is $13,000 less than the average to attend a fouryear private institution in the state of Arkansas and nearly $25,000 less than the average to attend a four-year private institution in the United States,” said Ryan Johnson, vice president for enrollment management.
Johnson encourages prospective students and their families to visit cbc.edu/cost for more information on CBC’s cost before scholarships applications are submitted.
