85, passed away December 19, 2020, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Webb was born February 3rd, 1935 in the Willis Township near Trumann and spent most of his life in the Trumann area before moving to Jonesboro in 2006.

Webb graduated from McCormick High School in 1953. He attended college at Arkansas State University receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultur­e and Masters Degree in Education. Webb then attended the University of Arkansas School of Law. After graduation he returned to northeast Arkansas where he practiced law in Trumann and Jonesboro for over 45 years before retiring.

Webb served in the Arkansas House of Representa­tives from 1979 to 1984. In 2009, Webb received the Outstandin­g Volunteer Award for his pro bono work and in the same year was appointed Special Associate Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court.

Webb was a member of Trumann First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and a Sunday school teacher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelley and Helen Webb of Trumann; two sisters, Loreda (Hammonds) of Trumann and Marilyn (McKay) of Litchfield, Illinois. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann (Collins) Webb of Jonesboro; two sons, Mark (Kathryn) Webb and Michael (Amanda) Webb both of Jonesboro; five grandchild­ren, John Mark, Hayes, Mason, Morgan and Collins, brother Wendell of Rockford, Illinois; and sister Loys (Teague) of Marion, Ark.

A graveside service will be held at Jonesboro Memorial Park on Tuesday, December 22 at 1:00 with Pastor John Maley officiatin­g and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangment­s.
