On January 1, 2021, our beloved BARBARA ANN SANDERS DIGGS,

-

age 79, of Little Rock, was called to her final resting place. She was married to her husband, Jim Diggs, for 54 years. She was the truest of American Heroes, a military spouse. Not only did she succeed in raising her two boys even when her husband was serving, but she did it in countries where she did not speak the language. Her family’s residences included Germany and Korea. Through it all, she remained sweet, humorous, and instantly loved by all who met her. Through her life, she faced many challenges, including the loss of her true love, but she never lost her spirit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Diggs and brother, Danny Wayne Sanders. She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Jim Diggs, Jeffrey, and Ginny Diggs of Little Rock; her sister and brotherin-law, Elinda Kay Pulanco and Philip Pulanco of Anchorage, Alaska; her sister-in-law, Kaye Sanders and her two brothers and sister-in-law, Rickey Jo and Jeanne Sanders, and Michael Ray Sanders; and two granddaughters, Emily D’Alesso (Joe), Hannah Cleghorn (Trent)and one great-granddaughter, Amelia Cleghorn. She will also be missed by her beloved Button, as well as a varied assortment of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
