Harold Lloyd Staton, age 87, of Pine Bluff, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Born August 18, 1933, at Lonoke, he was a son of the late William Blake Staton and Elvie Gertrude Parker Staton. He was a graduate of Lonoke High School. In 1962, he founded Pine Bluff Truck and Trailer Manufactur­ing, which he owned and operated until his death. Mr. Staton was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in White Hall.

In addition to his parents, he was predecease­d by three brothers, Wayne Staton (Eleanor), Lynn Staton (Lucille), Bobby Staton, and Doyne Staton; a sister, Josie Staton; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Staton and Wanda Staton; and a brother-in-law, Royal Burt.

Mr. Staton died on his and his wife’s 66th wedding anniversar­y. Mrs. Staton subsequent­ly died on January 3, 2021. Survivors include his children, Kenneth Staton (Debbie), Kathryn Wilson (Jim), and Renee Greenlee (Mark) all of Pine Bluff; grandchild­ren, Randall Staton (Sarah), Robert Staton (Perry), Regina Thompson (Juston), Justin Wilson (Megan), Jonathan Greenlee (Katie), and Adam Greenlee, all of Pine Bluff, Rustin Staton (Vanessa) of Tallulah, LA, and Jason Wilson (Amanda) of Austin, AR; great-grandchild­ren, Cody Staton, Ariel Staton, Akasha Staton, Eva Staton, Chase Smith, Ehren Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Carly Greenlee, Olivia Greenlee, and Nora Greenlee; brothers, Joe Staton of Benton, Billy Staton (Wanda) of Mablevale, and Richard Staton (Pat) of Stuttgart; sisters, Vivian Burt and Nettie Pearson (Wayne) all of Lonoke, and Jeanette Krischke (Wayne of Conroe, Texas; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Matlock (Roy) of Little Rock.

Funeral services for both Mr. and Mrs. Staton will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021, 2 p.m., at Watson Chapel Baptist Church with Brothers Rodney Castleberr­y, Mitch Dulaney, Michael Hight, and Tony Crocker officiatin­g. A special letter from Brother Grady Higgs will be read. Interment will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home.
