Norma Dene Kinman Allee, age 91, passed away December 12, 2020, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born September 23, 1929 and predecease­d by her parents, Richard and Mary Kinman, and her brother, Richard Kinman Jr.

Norma grew up in Pine Bluff, Ark. where she made many lifelong friends. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School and attended Arkansas (now Lyon) College in Batesville, Ark. In 1954 she made the bold decision to move to Houston, Texas and take a secretaria­l job with Tennessee Gas (later Tenneco). She married Robert Byron Allee later that year. Before divorcing they had four children, and was very involved in their activities by teaching Sunday School and helping with Girl Scouts.

Norma was a lifelong bridge player, belonging to several clubs, and always enjoyed the friendship­s she made. She went back to work in the mid-1970’s as a dental receptioni­st, working for many years at the office of Dr. Tracy Mills, DDS. She was a longtime member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church and later Memorial Drive Methodist, and enjoyed singing in their choirs.

After Hurricane Harvey, she moved to San Antonio and lived at Arden Courts Memory Care where she enjoyed all the activities and the kindness and care from the staff. The family is so grateful to her caregivers!

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Jerry Bonham of San Antonio and Virginia and Gary Muenzler of Austin, and her sons Richard Allee and Jeff Allee of Houston. She loved being a Grandmothe­r to Brad Bonham of Breckenrid­ge, Colo. and Christie Bonham of San Antonio.

A private graveside service with be held in Pine Bluff, Ark. at a later time. “It is well with my soul.”
