DONALD BURGESS HEALY,

age 82, of Little Rock, Arkansas, crossed over from this life on January 9, 2020. He was born into the home of Raymond and Pauline Healy on October 27, 1938, in Mabelvale, Arkansas.

Don was baptized as a youth in the Church of Christ and spent time as a song leader traveling in revivals. Don grew up as an avid sportsman and excelled in most athletics. He was scouted by profession­al baseball teams, but his true passion became the game of golf. Most of his working career was spent in various positions in the startup of the constructi­on laser industry.

Don is survived by his daughter, Teresa Bolin and spouse Michael and daughter, Shawna McCormick and spouse Rudy. He is also survived by his grandchild­ren, Mary McCullough (James) and Cheyann Chambers (Jason), and great-grandchild­ren, Cadence, Rudy, Patience, Guy and JimmyDon. He is also survived by one older sibling, Neal of Austin, Arkansas and his nieces, nephews, and their families.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 15, at 1:00 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, to be immediatel­y followed by the service at 2:00 and final interment at Antioch Cemetery. The service will also be live streamed at 2:00 via Smith-Westbrook’s facebook page.
