SHIRLEY ANN (TALLEY) MARTIN

went to be with her Lord and Savior January 12, 2021 surrounded by her family. Affectionately known as Nonnie, she loved to work in her yard, feed her birds, send cards and was very active until her health started declining. She was still able to talk on the phone and keeping up with her beloved Class of ‘54, her Sunday School Class and putting on earrings each and every day.

She was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her parents, John W. “Bill” Talley and Lee Ella Kilburn Talley; brothers, John W Talley II, James Lee Talley; and sister, Betty Jean Talley. She is survived by her daughter, Shyrll Bryant (Kevin); her grandson whom she adored, Blake Bryant (Hannah); friend/caregiver Janie Stroder; niece Billie Garlin (Troy); nephews John Talley (Marcy) and Scott Talley (Suzie); along with several great and great-great nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the Staff of Heart Hospital and Hospice Homecare for the excellent care she received.

Services will be at Geyer Springs First Baptist church Friday, January 15, 2021, at 2 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Martin Cemetery. Bro. Max Pyron will be Officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Griffis, Gene Farrish, Dennis Quattlebaum and Bill Brady. Pallbearers will be Larry Hunter, Austin Evans, Doug Gwatney, Mark witherspoon, Mike Bates and Tim King.
