of Little Rock, Ark. passed away on January 17, 2021, and is fully healed and is walking with the Lord. She was born July 11, 1955, to Charles B. “Chic” and Mary Ann Haley Young. She graduated from Hall High School in Little Rock and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Lissa was a Cheer-o-kee when she was at Hall High School. After graduating from college, she worked as a sales associate in two stores and was an administra­tive assistant at The Historic Arkansas Museum. She also was an assistant press secretary for Gov. Frank White when he was in office. She was a member of The Church at Rock Creek.

Lissa will be remembered for her love for her family and friends and her love of life. She overcame difficulti­es with humor and leaves this world with a life well-lived and a loving heart.

She is predecease­d by her parents, Chic and Mary Ann; and her grandparen­ts, Charles R. “Cy” and Margaret Young, and Harvey H. and Anne Haley.

She is survived by her husband, Bill McCoy; and her son, Tanner, and his friend, Melissa Stuart. Also surviving her is her sister, Margaret “Peggy” Seamon (Rob); her nephews, Nathan (Jen) Seamon, and Chris Seamon; her cousins, John (Danette) Haley, Susan (Mark) Betts, and David (Lori) Haley; and her aunt, Joanne Riddick. She is also survived by many, many loving friends.

Visitation will be Friday, January 22, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home, with burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday, January 25, 2021, at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lissa’s name to The Church at Rock Creek, Feed Arkansas Kids, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, UAMS Cancer Research Institute, or Humane Society of Pulaski County.
