73, of North Little Rock passed away on January 21, 2021. She was born on June 12, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to R.M. “Bud” and Dorothy Hemphill. Donna was artistical­ly talented and loved working in her work room on her arts and crafts.

But her passion was her family. She loved spending time with them and adored her husband, children, grandchild­ren and great-granddaugh­ter. To many, she was their “second Mom” and will be greatly missed by all.

Donna is survived by her husband David Winter, her sons Sean (Cheryl) Johnson, Patrick (Chuong) Johnson, Jeffrey (Jamie) Johnson, her grandchild­ren Jessica (Kyle) Smith, Jacob Johnson, Hoa Chi Johnson, Alex Johnson, Sydney Johnson, and Luke Johnson, and great-granddaugh­ter Hannah Smith, brothers, Tom (Rosemary) Hemphill, Michael (Dinda) Hemphill, and sister Mary Lou Ferguson as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents R.M. “Bud” and Dorothy Hemphill and stepson Nicholas Winter.

The family will have a private service in the coming days and will announce a date for a celebratio­n of Donna’s life this Spring so that family and friends can come together to share their wonderful memories and celebrate her life. The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to all of the doctors, nurses, and other health care profession­als who cared for Donna during her illness.
