The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas is conducting auditions for “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: A Virtual Fractured Fairy Tale,” preparing for a Valentine’s Day project and livestream presentation with Pine Bluff artist Kimiara Johnson as well as planning a virtual Live@5 Concert.

“MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL” AUDITIONS

The Arts & Science Center is seeking people ages 21 and younger to audition for its theatrical production, “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: A Virtual Fractured Fairy Tale,” according to a news release.

Auditions began Friday and will continue today and Sunday.

To sign up for an audition, visit asc701.org/auditions or email director Kayla Lake at kayladenise15@yahoo.com.

Inspired by classic fairy tales, “Mirror, Mirror” begins with the Evil Queen who wishes to be fairest of them all. When her Magic Mirror informs her that runaway Snow White is the most fair, the queen is livid. She summons great magic in hopes of finding Snow White and can now see out of all mirrors throughout the kingdom. There’s a catch … the magic also allows everyone else’s mirrors to show their deepest desires.

The production will stream online April 1-4, 2021. The event is sponsored by Relyance Bank.
