CATHERINE “KAKI” WALLIS MOORE,

age 88, of Little Rock, died Monday, January 25, 2021 at her home. She was born in Malvern on March 11, 1932, to the late James Christophe­r Wallis and Edith Kathryn “Teta” McCormack Wallis. Kaki was reared and educated in Hope, Malvern, and Little Rock public schools, and subsequent­ly graduated from Malvern High School. She was the wife of Thomas C. Moore, to whom she was married on July 9, 1960, at First Methodist Church in Malvern. Kaki loved music of all kinds, and was a profession­al shopper. She especially loved singing in the Trinity United Methodist Church choir, and the Fellowship Bible Church choir. Friends were so important to her and she strived to be a good one to others. She loved her family very much and was so proud of them.

Kaki is survived by her husband, Tom; by her son, Jim Moore and his wife, Pam; by her precious granddaugh­ter, Caroline, with whom she shared some very special times together; her brother, Charles Wallis, and his wife, Irene, of Folsom, Calif.; her nieces and nephew, Laura Groome of Rainbow, Texas, Sue Wallis of Libertyvil­le, Illinois, Dan Wallis; her great-nieces and -nephews, Stephanie and Scott Beauvais, Daniel, Courtney, and Kirby Groome; and great-greatniece, Kyla Groome; and her cousin, Ann Rutherford of Omaha, Neb.

A memorial service celebratin­g Kaki’s life will be held at Fellowship Bible Church Chapel, 1401 Kirk Road, Little Rock, on Saturday afternoon, January 30, 2021, at 2 o’clock, with Pastor Stephen Brannon officiatin­g and Justin McCartney in charge of music.
