BRYANT — On January 21, 2021, Robert R (Bob) Shaw,

passed away at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. He was 82.

He was born April 19, 1938, in Spokane, Wash., to Basil Shaw and Esther Witherall Shaw. During his high school years he ran cross country track and boxed with the Golden Gloves Organizati­on. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the US Marine Corp. Following his service, he moved to California and then to Arkansas where he worked for Coca Cola. He retired in 2001. Bob was a farmer at heart and over the years he raised chickens, cattle and a couple bison on his 30-acre farm in Alexander. He met his wife Leslie in 1995 and they married the following year.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Leslie, his daughter, Audra Shaw Pearson, and two grandchild­ren, Logan and Lauren Pearson of Olympia, Wash. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Smith of Cabot, Ark., and brothers, Ron (Fran)and Roger of Portland, Ore. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and two younger brothers.

Visitation is on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 3 p.m., at Pinecrest Funeral Home in Alexander, followed by a Rosary Service at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, February 8, 2021, at 10 a.m, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church located at, 900 W Cross St, in Benton, under the direction of Pinecrest Funeral Home.
