CABOT — Jean Evans Garner Pharr,

91, of Cabot, formerly of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, February 4, 2021, in Cabot. She was born September 18, 1929, in Poyen, Ark., to Andrew Jackson and Bertha Matilda Sanders Evans. She was a graduate of Poyen High School in 1947, and the Levi School of Nursing in 1950. She was retired in 1980 from Jefferson Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse, and also taught at Pines Votech. She was a former member of South Side Baptist Church, Pine Bluff, where she served as a Sunday School teacher, and was currently a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Cabot. She was a member of the District Nurses Associatio­n.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd E. Garner; her second husband, Charles Pharr; and a son, Gregory Lloyd Garner. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Garner Frey (Russ) and Linda Garner Bunch (Ken), both of Cabot; three grandsons, Kevin and Brian Frey and Garner Trimble.

Graveside services will be 12 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2021, at Graceland Cemetery, Pine Bluff, with the Rev. Ken Bunch officiatin­g. Arrangemen­ts are under the care of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors, Pine Bluff.

Visitation will be held 10:3011:30 a.m., Monday, at Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors, 807 Cherry St., Pine Bluff, Ark.
