HOT SPRINGS — Mark Andrew Marino,

of Hot Springs, Ark., died at the age of 64, in Fort Worth, Texas, on January 30, 2021. He battled cancer for six months before succumbing to the disease. A memorial service for Mark will be held at a later date, when family and friends can reunite. Mark was born in July of 1956, in Fort Lewis, Washington, to Andrew and Kathryn Marino. He grew up throughout the U.S. and in the Panama Canal Zone, as a U.S. Army dependent, where he was afforded the opportunities of enjoying the sites and cultures of those places in which he lived.

He graduated from Parkway West High School in St. Louis, Mo. He went on to study at the University of Arkansas where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architectural Design. Mark was employed by many architect firms in Arkansas and in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where he contributed to the commercial and residential architecture in these areas. After retiring from architecture, he donated service time to the Salvation Army in Northwest Arkansas. Mark enjoyed playing the guitar, tinkering with his cars, fishing, sketching and photographing building architecture, spending time with family at holidays and Sunday spaghetti dinners, and watching sports, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother Kathryn Marino. Survivors: Mark is survived by his father, Andrew Marino of Hot Springs, Ark.; his brother, Charles Marino and wife, Lisa of Benbrook, Texas; his sister, Andrianna Stearns and husband, Keith of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and many nieces and nephews.
