62, died Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at St. Vincent’s in Little Rock. He was born February 24, 1958, in Wynne, Ark., a son of the late Hulon Alfred and Mary Virginia (Jones) Cain. Brian was a 1976 graduate of McCrory High School where excelled as a Jaguar football player; also referred to as his “Glory Days.” He was a life-long fan of Arkansas Razorback sports and a huge supporter of his nieces and nephews sporting events. He was always very proud of their many accomplish­ments.

Brian tried his hand at several occupation­s through the years. He was a bartender at Cajun’s Wharf in Little Rock for quite some time, worked in his family’s business, Comet Cleaners, for a while but his days spent working on the river boats were probably his most enjoyable. He was a music lover and enjoyed old westerns.

Brian is survived by his brother, Tim Cain and wife DeeDee of Conway; sister-in-law, Lori Simmons Cain of McCrory; nephews and nieces, Jordan Cain, Anna Cain, Rae Ann Cain Houston (Tyler), Mary Kate Cain, Kyle Cain, Emma Caroline Hankins and Ellie Cain Hankins; greatniece, Hattie Houston and a special care-giver, Brandy Garner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mandy Cain Hankins and a brother, Craig Alfred Cain.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 1 p.m., at the Woodman Cemetery with visitation beginning at 12 p.m. Arrangemen­ts are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Woodruff County. www.powellfune­ralhome.net.
