■ KINGS HIGHWAY MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 2312 Fluker St., will celebrate women’s day at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 14. The featured speaker will be Shere Morris, a member of Kings Highway. Due to covid-19, the church will celebrate virtually on the Kings Highway Missionary Baptist Church Facebook page.

■ HOUSE OF BREAD DELIVERANC­E CHURCH, 500 S. Main St., is rescheduli­ng its two food pantry openings it had planned for Feb. 11 and Feb. 15 because of inclement weather. ■ NEW LIFE CHURCH, 2801 S. Olive St., is giving away food boxes in the Farmers to Families Food Drive. The next scheduled distributi­ons will be Feb. 16 and Feb. 23. “If you plan to pick up boxes for churches or other organizati­ons or would like to volunteer to unload the truck, call Community Outreach Coordinato­r Mary Liddell at 870-6432383 or email marylddll@yahoo.com,” according to the newsletter from the Pine Bluff Chamber of Commerce. Volunteers may also sign up on the church’s Facebook page and should be at the parking lot at 12:15 p.m. on the dates of the distributi­on.

■ MOUNT MEDITATION­S, a new devotional was recently released by two area pastors: Derick Easter of New St. Hurricane Missionary Baptist Church at Pine Bluff, and George Parks Jr. of New Hope Baptist Church at North Little Rock and Conway. This devotional is constructe­d from Jesus’ famous and transforma­tive Sermon on the Mount, according to Stuff in the Bluff website. “It is our prayer that this devotional piece would live in your heart and help you to grow deeper in wisdom, knowledge, and understand­ing,” the pastors said. Mount Meditation­s is an intentiona­l and practical tool, including daily applicatio­ns and focused prayers for each day, according to the website. Copies are available for $15.
