Arkansas Achievers
■ Maxime Pierre, Little Rock’s deputy director of Parks and Recreation, was named one of the National Recreation and Parks Association’s 30 Under 30.
■ Brandon C. Grant, a senior at Batesville High School, has received a $1,000 vocal/ choral scholarship, and Tess Monroe, a senior at Cabot High School, has received the $500 vocal/choral scholarship from the Arkansas Chamber Singers.
■ Members of the state’s arts community have been named recipients of the Governor’s Arts Awards. They are Pat Qualls-Taylor of Jonesboro, Arts Community Development Award; Kai Coggin of Hot Springs, Arts in Education Award; Bylites Inc. of Little Rock, Corporate Sponsorship of the Arts Award; Joe Doster of Huntsville, Folklife Award; Warren Criswell of Benton, Individual Artist
Award: The Bob Bogle Family of Bentonville, Patron Award; Elmer Beard of Hot Springs, Judges Recognition Award; Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet, Trout Fishing in America band, Lifetime Achievement Award.

1) Must be an Arkansas or have graduated from a school in Arkansas.
2) Received an award, scholarship, medal or promotion.
Pageants, deans’ lists, graduations or military enlistments are not accepted.
