father of Dr. Thomas B LeMay, died peacefully at his home in Sherwood, Ark., on February 9, 2021. He was born in Kress City, Ark., to William Henry LeMay and Hazel Evelyn “Maryman” LeMay on December 6, 1929. After serving in the United States Army during the Korean War, he returned to Arkansas, where he had a long career in the transporta­tion industry with Texas Internatio­nal Airlines and subsequent­ly retired from Continenta­l Airlines in 1982.

Marrying Judy Hollis on June 4th, 1950, he was devoted to her for over 56 years prior to her death in 2007. They had only one child, Thomas Bradford LeMay, who was truly blessed by God with these amazing parents.

He was predecease­d not only by his wife Judy, but also his parents, and his four brothers: William Henry LeMay, Jr. , John Henry LeMay, Sam Boone LeMay and Tandy Rodney LeMay.

Survivors include his son, Thomas LeMay, and his wife Dorie of Natchez; granddaugh­ter, Lauren Elizabeth “LeMay” Rogers and her husband Jonathan of Jacksonvil­le, Fla.; grandsons, Nathan Bradford LeMay of Hot Springs, Ark.; and Joshua Thomas LeMay of Dallas, Texas; great-granddaugh­ter Emma Grace Rogers of Jacksonvil­le, Fla.; sister, Edna Lorraine Moore and her husband Leroy of Benton, La.; brother in law, Dr. Thomas Henry Hollis, and his wife Brenda of Hot Springs, Ark.; nephew, Dr. Thomas Henry Hollis Jr., and his wife Doanh of Hot Springs Ark.; niece, Katherine Marie Rynders, and her husband Steve of Hot Springs, Ark.; and second wife, Genevieve LeMay of Sherwood, Ark.

He will be buried with Judy at the Memory Gardens Cemetary in Hope Arkansas and will truly be missed by all.
