ALEXANDER — Jose Antonio Rodriguez,

44, of Alexander, A4k., passed away on February 7 from complications of Covid-19. Antonio was born on December 28, 1976, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Maria Catalina Martinez and Juan Rodriguez Govea. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He worked for over 20 years at Stewart Title, most recently as Financial Analyst Director. Antonio was also an entrepreneur, creating Renovating Dreams, for real estate and investment.

Antonio was blessed with a large and loving family. Among his favorite pastimes were spending time with his family, especially his son Alexander; and playing soccer with family and friends, where his competitive spirit soared. Antonio was a proud US citizen, having immigrated to the United States from Mexico at a young age. But he always celebrated his Mexican heritage throughout his daily life and in his love for the culture. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. He loved to share his love of music with his son and family, writing many songs. Antonio rededicated his life to Christ and we rejoice that he is at peace with his creator.

Antonio is preceded in death by his father, Juan Rodriguez Govea. He is survived by his wife, Hillary, son, Alexander, mother, Maria Catalina Martinez, siblings Maria Rodriguez, Consuelo (Guadalupe) Rivera, Blanca (Victor) Cedillo, Rosa (Abdias) Montoya, Carmen (Abel) Delgado, Katty (Mike) Ramirez, Juan Carlos (Barbara) Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez and Jesus (Ermela) Rodriguez, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.

A link to the private service can be obtained by a family member once it is available on Saturday, February 13. A private burial will take place at Pinecrest Memorial.
