GUY — Audrey Jane Mitchell,

81, of Guy, Ark., went to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on February 11, 2021. She was so loved and will be dearly missed by many, especially her husband of 65 years, William H. “Sonny” Mitchell. Audrey was born on November 8, 1939, to the late Otto and Goldie Rummel. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Tina Marie; her brother, Charles “Bill” Rummel; and her grandson, Landon Smith.

Audrey was the most loving, caring, selfless, and devoted woman ever to her family and friends. She was a wonderful woman with a servant’s heart who projected honesty, loyalty, goodness and integrity like no other. According to her children and grandchild­ren, she was cherished and loved beyond measure. Audrey was a member of the Ironton Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband and her children, Deborah Smith (Max), William A. “Tony” Mitchell (Wendy), Rita James (Wesley); her grandchild­ren Candace Arterbury, Krystle Hooten, Kenny James, Michelle Ross, Leah Smith; and ten great-grandchild­ren. She is also survived by four brothers, Donald, Larry, Jerry, and Richard Rummel, who loved and admired her deeply.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 1 p.m., at Ironton Baptist Church at 14718 Ironton Cutoff, Little Rock, AR. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Ironton Baptist Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, we ask that everyone bring and wear their own mask before entering.
