Ann loved to arrange flowers for parties, weddings, or any event her family and friends requested. Her greatest joy came from being with her granddaughter Mary Olive Owens. As Mary’s guardian, whether it was a school project, dress for cotillion, Halloween, Christmas, or any project, Ann made sure it was the best. She shopped from Nashville, Tenn., to Ft. Smith making sure everything was perfect for Mary. Ann loved to see the joy on Mary’s face when she would take her to Mt. View to horseback ride, weekend trips to their Heber Springs cabin was always a treat. Making meatballs was one of their favorite things to do.

Ann’s desire in life was to make all things peaceful and loving. She never ask for anything except to make Terry and Mary happy by fulfilling all their wants and needs. They fulfilled her needs with love, respect and joy.

Ann is preceded in death by her father, Henry Garrett, stepfather and mother Dr. JD and Katy Wilson.

She is survived by her husband, Terry L. Owens; step-daughter, Amber Owens; and beloved granddaughter, Mary Olive Owens, all of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Buddy Garrett, Greenville, Miss.; and many nieces and nephews.

Ann was a very warm and genuine person that never saw fault in anyone. Always optimistic about everything. She loved Razorback sports, watching every game possible. Ann was also a friend of the birds and encouraged everyone to feed them. She often made several skillets of cornbread per day for them.
