SLOVAK — Robert Terry Drotar,

-

the Ambassador of Slovak, avid hunter and fisherman, computer genius, and Subiaco Academy legend, passed away at 67 years old, on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Terry was a Christian believer who grew up in Slovak and was known by everyone as a man who lived his life unapologetically and on his own terms. He was gifted at making people laugh through his dry, and sometimes even sil Baptist ly, sense of humor. Terry was a hardworking man who had an exceptional ability and willingness to help others. He was extremely generous and would give anyone the shirt off his own back. Terry was a people person who never met a stranger. He was a dynamic athlete and an epic football player who took great pride in being a Trojan. Terry was a loyal friend, a devoted father, and an all around family man. But Terry’s favorite title was “Grandaddy”. His shining moment and finest hour was as a grandad.

When Terry left Arkansas and went to hunt and fish in paradise forever, he left behind two two adoring daughters, Terra Drotar Vinet (and son-in-law Brennon Vinet), Lyndsey Drotar (and their mother, Gayle Kirk), and God-daughter, Brooke Prislovsky. Terry left behind nine beloved grandchildren, Slayden, Payton, Tinsley, Kherington (K-Love), Kinner and Kain Vinet and Isabella and Hadlee Drotar-Chester and Declan Thompson. He also leaves behind his mother, Adelaide Drotar; sister, Paula Coburn; and brother, John Drotar. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Robert Drotar; and sisters, Karen Fitts, Carmen Lee, and Monica Lane.

Terry will be missed beyond measure but never replaced or forgotten. A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, February 28, 2021, at 2 p.m., at St. Cyril and Methodius Church, 1852 Hwy. 86 W., Slovak, Ark. There will be a Life Celebration for Terry immediately following, at Harr House, 3749 Harr Drive (off of Highway 343), Fairmount, Ark., (5 minutes from church). Accommodations can be made at Harr House, 870-659-0071, Tru by Hilton, 870-672-7505, Quality Inn, 870-673-2575. Online guestbook www.SmithFamilyCares.com
