WANDA L. HARTWICK,

91, of North Little Rock passed away February 26, 2021. She was born May 28, 1929, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late A. T. and Vesta Harrison and was married to the late Derrell V. Hartwick. Wanda is survived by her children; Terry C. Hartwick, Tona (Chuck) Eckley, Tim (Diane) Hartwick and Tracy (Shari) Hartwick; grandchild­ren, Tammy, Ryan, Derrell Ray, Christi, Chad, Chris, Greg and Brent; great grandchild­ren, Cassadi, Rece, Alyssa, Chase, Claire, Campbell, Jansen and Landen; brother, Monroe (Patricia) Harrison and her loving companion for 40 years, Louis Rye.

Wanda was a devout Christian and a member of 1st United Methodist Church of NLR. She worked as the director of the North Little Rock Youth Center for many years, then for over 27 years at her church’s Daycare Program, retiring at the age of 83.

She loved her family with all her heart. Wanda enjoyed watching golf, reading and spending time with her family, many times were spent making memories barbecuing and swimming in her pool. She had an extensive collection of frogs, over 3,500 of them in and outside of her house.

Thank you to the entire staff of Lakewood Nursing & Rehabilita­tion in North Little Rock for their loving care and support for the last three years. An extra special thanks to Tina, for the comfort and loving touch you gave our mother.
