of Little Rock passed from this life on February 27, 2021. He was born May

3, 1957 in Jackson, Miss., to the late S.L. and Mildred Branton Holcombe.

Hal enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking. He loved people and had a passion for sharing his faith and love for Jesus. He often said, “It’s not about us, it’s about Jesus”. Hal also loved his family. His wife, Barbara, and son, Mason were his greatest source of happiness and pride. He was involved as a coach for various sports teams Mason was active on and when not coaching always made every game he could. Mr. Holcombe was a member of New Life Church and served as a leader for the Re:generation group, helping people refocus on a life in Christ. He was involved with the Real Men group at NLC Saline and he loved teaching the five-year-olds in Little Life. In addition to his parents, his brother, Sid Holcombe preceded him in death.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 24 years, Barbara Holcombe; son, Mason Holcombe of Little Rock; sister, Renee (Gary) Gill of Mississipp­i and sister-in-law Pauline Holcombe, also of Mississipp­i. Other survivors include nieces and nephews, Jeremiah {Crystal) Gill, Rachelle (Spike) Woods, Evangeline (Matthew) Miller, Heather Penn and Regan Holcombe; along with a host of other extended family and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Hal’s memory may be made to the M18 Recovery Group at New Life Church, 8000 Crystal Hill Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72118. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2021, at New Life Church, Greater Little Rock Campus with Pastor Chad Denmon officiatin­g. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
