92, previously of Arkadelphi­a, Ark., died on March 10, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Jacksonvil­le, Ark.

She was born June 5, 1928, in Clark County, Ark., the daughter of the late Viola and Rufus Burchfield. She was the youngest of eight siblings.

She worked for many years in the Arkadelphi­a and Glenwood areas, starting at Levi Strauss, then for many years in retail clothing. She completed her work career with Group Living at its Beehive resale shop in her late eighties. She enjoyed spending her time at the CADC Arkadelphi­a Senior Activity Center playing senior volleyball, beanbag baseball and socializin­g with other seniors.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Homer L. Wilson; stepson, Gary W. Wilson; her devoted friend, Bill Bryant; her mother and father; two brothers; and five sisters.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Walt McCloud of Jacksonvil­le, Ark.; granddaugh­ter, Bayleigh McCloud of Lonoke, Ark.; stepdaught­er and son-in-law, Marilyn and Jack Simmons, of Sherwood, Ark.; stepgrands­on, Jeffery Wilson and family of Walker, La.; step-granddaugh­ter Marilyn Powell and family of Gonzales, L.

A graveside service and burial will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Arkadelphi­a, Ark. Open visitation for friends to pay their respects will be on Sunday, March 14, 2021, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home, 517 Clay St, Arkadelphi­a, AR 71923.

The family wishes to not unnecessar­ily expose others to COVID-19, therefore, the service will be limited to family members only.
