Neighbor’s Table

Photography Class

Pottery Classes
RUSSELLVILLE — The River Valley Arts Center, 1001 E. B St., will offer pottery classes with Soyoon. Beginners classes will take place at 6 p.m. Mondays, starting April 26, and at 11 a.m. Wednesdays, starting April 28. An advanced class will meet at 11 a.m. Mondays, starting April 26. Veterans Food Pantry
NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The Veterans Villages Helping Hand Program Food Pantry, 8325 MacArthur Drive, serves all veterans, including active-duty, Guard and Reserve service members and their families in Faulkner and Perry counties. The food pantry will be open from 8 a.m. to noon every other Wednesday, including April 7. The Veterans Villages of America Program also helps with unemployment, health care and housing for veterans and service members. Food Pantry and Thrift Store
MORRILTON — The Conway County Care Center’s food pantry, at 108 W. Broadway, is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Residents of Conway County may visit the pantry once a month to take home free supplemental food, regardless of household income. The center also operates a thrift store, where clothes and household items are available at a low cost, or free when there is an immediate need. Women With a Purpose Meetings

Senior Bingo Days

HEBER SPRINGS — The Cleburne County Cares Food Pantry,
2016 Arkansas 25 Bypass, is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Those who need food are asked to call ahead at (501) 362-8486 so the pantry can have the items ready for pickup.
Fairfield Bay Rotary Meetings
FAIRFIELD BAY — The Fairfield Bay Rotary meets at noon every Wednesday, with lunch at 11:30 a.m., in the Fireside Room at the Little Red Restaurant at Indian Hills, 337 Snead Drive. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Arkansas Department of Health guidelines will be followed.

PETIT JEAN MOUNTAIN — The Winthrop Rockefeller Institute invites all to join their fellow Arkansans on Zoom to answer — “How should we make sure people have the food they need?” — the guiding question examined by the National Issues Forum guide Land of Plenty. The free sessions will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. April 6 and from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 8. Led by trained facilitators, participants will explore three

High School Art Competition Virtual Opening and Awards

Time Out for Tech
RUSSELLVILLE — Time Out for Tech, Arkansas Tech University’s largest annual preview day for high school seniors, has been rescheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 14-16. Dates for the various colleges are as follows: the College of Business and the
College of Education on April 14; the College of Arts and Humanities and those who are undecided on their academic interests on April 15; and the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the College of Natural and Health Sciences on April 16. Each student can bring one guest. Participants will receive a complimentary brunch or lunch. Advance registration for Time Out for Tech 2021 is required by visiting bit.ly/ATUTOFT2021.
QuickBooks Online Basics & Beyond
RUSSELLVILLE — The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center will present QuickBooks Online Basics & Beyond from 9 a.m. to noon April 20 and 21. This virtual workshop is for those using or planning to use the cloud-based version of QuickBooks (Simple Start, Essentials or Online Plus). Topics include navigation, company setup, reconciling accounts, handling revenue, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank feeds, inventory, customizing reports and more. The class fee is $130. Re-Prom Chamber Gala
FAIRFIELD BAY — The Fairfield Bay Area Chamber of Commerce will present Re-Prom Chamber Gala 2021 from 6-9 p.m. April 23 at the Chamber of Commerce/ Visitor Center, 365 Dave Creek Parkway. Participants can wear attire appropriate for the year they graduated from high school to receive a free 2021 Chamber Yearbook, or simply dress in their best prom attire. The event will include photo opportunities, yearbook signing and a catered meal from Hickory Hill BBQ of smoked chicken, potato salad, baked beans, sweet coleslaw, roll, dessert and beverages.
