PINE BLUFF — Christine Funderburg Krank,

83, of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. She was born February 18, 1938, in a log cabin outside of Pine Bluff to Houston and Grace Richardson. Her mother and twin sister passed away during childbirth, and Christine was adopted by her uncle and aunt, Nathan and Elizabeth Funderburg. She stayed very close to all of them.

Christine was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School. She was a faithful member of Whiteville Missionary Baptist Church during much of her adult life. She taught Sunday School for most of her life as well. She became a “preacher’s wife” later in life after marrying Reverend Thomas Krank and spent the next 28 years serving small Missionary Baptist Churches around Arkansas and Louisiana. Christine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Nathan Allen Holdford; brother, Roy Rice; sister, Rosemary Moore; grandson, Derek Baggett; stepson, Miles Krank; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Ann Holdford.

Survivors include two sons, Rob Holdford (Joy) and Joel Holdford (Amber); grandchild­ren, Dakota, Hanna, Taylor, Alyssa, Josiah, Daniel (Jennifer), Amanda, Amber, Kevin and Dillon; and great-grandchild­ren, Talen, Ryker, Liam, Briley, Lilly Kate, and Paul; stepdaught­ers, Pam Baggett and Kim Krank; niece, Allison Michau (Randy); great-nephews, Brenden, Josh and Ethan Baggett, Aaron Reppond, Garrett, and Gavin Michau, and daughter-in-law, Amy Baggett.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, April 16, 2021, in the chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Reverend Jeff Temple officiatin­g. Burial will be in Lee Cemetery.
