LONSDALE — Margaret Ann Sears,

69, passed at home on April 12, 2021, following her long and courageous fights with both breast cancer and Alzheimer’s. Margaret loved life. She loved traveling, Christmas, books, music, flowers, garage sales, her puppies, her granddaugh­ters, and most of all the love of her life, Freddy to whom she had been married for over 53 years.

Immediate surviving family members are her husband, Freddy; daughter, Charlotte; granddaugh­ters, Reagan and Isabella; and her baby girl, CoCo. She also leaves behind her mother-in-law and friend, Eva Dean Sears. Surviving siblings are Mary (Levi) Kelly of Hot Springs, Jean Coffeen of Fort Smith, David (Sallie) Henry of Texas, and John Henry of Hot Springs. She also has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved very much.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Ella and Willie Henry; her father-in-law, Freeman Sears; and siblings, Margie Bailey, Virginia Terry, Mernell Erwin, Lora Etta Huggins, Helen Goodrich, and Ruby Francis Henry.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home in Hot Springs. A chapel memorial service will begin the same day at 10 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at Smith Creek Cemetery on Highway 128. Please wear a mask to indoor services. Randy Ward will officiate.
