BENTON — Gary Lynn Webb

affectionately referred to as “Pa”, of Benton, passed away April 27, 2021 at the age of 68, after a brief illness. He was born December 17, 1952, to the late RA and Bertha Webb. Saved at a young age, Gary was a Baptist, and he attended Mt Vernon Baptist Church here in Benton. He retired from Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Gary served as a leader of the Magic Clover’s 4-H Club alongside his late wife, Nanette, they mentored many youth as they strove to make the best better. He was also a longtime member of the Saline County Fair Association, where he served as president several terms and in any other capacities as needed, from cooking to opening up for events, he loved the fair mission, his contributions proved it, and his actions proved he knew what it meant to the people of Saline County.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Angela Clark and her husband Randy of Okolona, Ark.; his granddaughters, Autumn Clark of Okolona, Ark., and Shelby Roush of Bauxite, Ark.; his brother, Don Webb and his wife Eve of Hot Springs Village; his brother-in-law, Phillip “Curly” Bledsoe and Linda McAdoo of Benton. His extended family, the Saline County Fair Association family and the many friends he met through the fair and throughout his life.

We will all miss his calm demeanor, smile, infectious laugh, kindness and positive outlook. The family has peace and comfort knowing Gary is at home in Heaven, where he was greeted by many loved ones who had gone on before him including his wife, Nanette, and his parents.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 30, at Ashby Funeral Home with Bro. Scott King officiating.
