CARTHAGE — Gary Eugene Rogers, age

62, of Carthage, died Thursday, April 22, 2021. He was born March 25, 1959, in Anaheim, Calif. Gary worked both as a fireman and roofer while living in Southern California. Gary and his wife Jane relocated to Arkansas in 2003 where he was roofing contractor.

Gary was a devoted father, son and husband. Gary had one of the biggest hearts possible in a human being and it shined through with every interactio­n he had with others. He was the kind of man who could make friends with someone within minutes of meeting them. Gary had an infectious laugh and always seemed to have the right thing to say when someone was feeling down. Gary loved his family with every beat of his heart and his faith in God was never wavered despite all of life’s obstacles.

Gary is preceded in death by his mother, Nova Mae Holloway Rogers. He is survived by his wif Jane Dunne Rogers of Carthage; two sons, Andrew Rogers of Phoenix, Ariz., Aaron Rogers of Long Beach, Calif.,; three daughters, Angela Aldred of Litchfield Park, Ariz., Aimee Osterhage of Reno, Nev., Ashley Rogers of Sparks, Nev.; father, Eura Fay Rogers of Fordyce; two brothers, Jim Rogers of Clinton, Paul Rogers of Owensboro, Ky.; seven grandchild­ren, and one great-grandchild.
