WYNNE — Mrs. Bonnye Todd

Sisk of Wynne, formerly of Parkin, died peacefully Friday, April 30, 2021, at the Flo and Phil Jones hospice house in Jonesboro, Ark. She was 87. Bonnye was born in Parkin, Ark., to the late Herbert and Doris Stone Todd on October 1, 1933. She attended Parkin Schools and was the Valedictor­ian of her class. She played basketball and was a member of the 1951 All-State Basketball Team and was the Editor of the school paper. Bonnye married Irvin Sisk in 1954. They made their home in Parkin where they raised three boys, Todd, Irvin and Lance. She worked at the Co-Op as the bookkeeper and for the Sisk Family Farm. She was a member of the Parkin PTA and served as president. Bonnye was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Parkin and served as the treasurer and bookkeeper for 50 years. She was truly an elegant lady and will be terribly missed. Bonnye is survived by her sons, Todd Sisk and wife Margarite of Wynne, Irvin Sisk, Jr. of Little Rock, Lance Sisk and wife Dianna of Wynne, grandchild­ren, Rachel Sisk Ramsey and husband Jason, Callie Sisk Johnson and husband Dane, Lauren Payton Sisk, step-grandchild­ren, Michelle McCormick and husband Michael, Stacie Jackson, great-grandchild­ren, Owen and Cole Ramsey and step-great-grandchild, Arianna Jackson and Jackson McCormick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Doris Todd, husband Irvin Sisk in 2005 and brother, Herbert Todd, Jr. Visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Parkin on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 with Rev. Johnny Jenkins and Dr. Rev. Glenn Pettus officiatin­g. Burial will be in Cogbill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock or to the First United Methodist Church of Parkin. Kernodle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangemen­ts.
