MARY ELIZABETH BROSIUS,

94, of Little Rock, Ark., went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2021. She was born on March 16, 1927, in Magnolia, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Brosius, her son, Gerald McDonald, and her mother and father, Sandy Christi Awbrey and Ida Awbrey, and her grandson, Christophe­r Baird. She is survived by two daughters. Daughter, Lana St. Clair (Charles) of Little Rock, and her grandson, Michael St. Clair of Little Rock, Ark., and her grandson, Matt St. Clair (Kristin), and two great-grandchild­ren, Charlotte and Harper of Little Rock, Ark. Daughter, Pam Cigainero (Tommy) of Texarkana, Texas, and granddaugh­ter, Kim Kell (Scotty) of Simms, Texas, and great-granddaugh­ter, Kennedi Baird and great-grandson, Corey Brazile (Wesley), and grandson, Jason Cigainero (Kelsey) and great-grandsons, Gavin and Grayson.

Mary worked for years as a secretary at Red River Army Depot before retiring in 1975. She was a dedicated and loyal employee. She was a lifelong member of Rose Hill Baptist Church in Texarkana. After moving to Little Rock, Arkansas, Mary became a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she made many friends. She had a special relationsh­ip with her best friend, Mary Howell where they shared birthday celebratio­ns, lunch dates, flea market shopping, and many stories. Her biggest love was for her family. She loved being with them and sharing stories of life-long memories. She loved going to the horse races with her daughters, granddaugh­ter, and great-granddaugh­ter which became a tradition for her birthday celebratio­n every year. She loved traveling with her family. She made trips to San Antonio, Branson, Grand Ole Opry, St. Louis, and even traveling across the country to California visiting historic sites. On her eightieth birthday we celebrated her birthday on her first cruise. She also loved going to Orange Beach to watch the beautiful waves and dolphins in the ocean.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m., at East Funeral Home, 602 Olive Street, Texarkana, Texas. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Memorial Gardens with Dr. Scott Jackson officiatin­g under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.
