47, of Austin, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021. He was born February 15, 1974, in Hot Springs, to Lynne and Cheri (Nugent) Boyd. Bobby proudly served his country and was an active-duty transporta­tion specialist in the United States Air Force from 1994-1998 at Luke AFB in Glendale, Arizona, and cross-trained into weather forecastin­g in 1998. He was a weather forecaster until 2002. He was a self-proclaimed “weather nerd” and was also fascinated by airplanes and enjoyed watching his flight radar app. Bobby graduated with his Bachelor of Business Administra­tion Degree in 2018 and began working for the Arkansas Highway department as a Project Manager. He loved his community and was a

member of the Austin Building and Planning Commission and the Parks and Recreation committee. Most of all, Bobby had a big heart, was extremely proud of his children and their accomplish­ments, and loved spending time with family and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by paternal grandmothe­r, Jeannie Williams, paternal grandfathe­r, Lynne Boyd, Jr; maternal grandmothe­r, Bobbie Hughes, and uncle, Tracy Hughes.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jennifer (Zelnick) Boyd children, Jonathan Andrew Boyd, Patrick Loren Boyd, and Brianna MacKenzie Boyd, parents, Lynne and Cheri Boyd, brother, Christophe­r James Boyd, and numerous friends and extended family members.
