ATHLETICS 6, RAYS 3 Seth Brown hit a two-run home run in the first inning a day after delivering a walk-off drive, sending Oakland past Tampa Bay.
TIGERS 7, TWINS 3 Miguel Cabrera hit a tiebreaking single to key a five-run burst in the seventh inning that sent Detroit over Minnesota.
BLUE JAYS 8, ASTROS 4 Cavan Biggio hit his first home run at the ballpark where his dad
closed out his Hall of Fame career, and Marcus Semien added a three-run shot late as Toronto beat Houston. Biggio, son of Astros great Craig Biggio, hit a two-run shot off Cristian Javier in the second inning.
